Love Abides Home Foundation a 501(c)(3) non-profit believes in giving folks a hand up, not a handout. We partner with communities and make a long-term commitment to help them succeed, resulting in positive, measurable outcomes for residents and neighborhoods, while creating a great sense of pride and a strong sense of community. We have partners that handle every aspect of the affordable housing process, from project financing and housing development to community outreach and long-term resident services. We provide a custom approach to affordable housing which allows us to help more people and more communities while ensuring that each person is treated with respect and our high standards. We encourage our clients to volunteer any way they can to give back where they can and make a difference in someone else’s life. As a committed member of the community, we have made affordable housing our mission, and we are proud to offer a model of full-spectrum support for individuals and communities, including:
PROVIDING HOUSING
With your generous contributions, we provide the support necessary to assist in covering housing costs through our assisted rent program or our home sponsorship program.
RAISING FUNDS
We raise the funding to support our efforts through biannual events, online auctions, direct donations, business sponsorship. Individual home sponsorship and general sponsorship opportunities.
IDENTIFY THE AREAS WITH THE MOST NEED
We supply short and long-term affordable housing opportunities to people that need it most, such as those who suffer loss of income due to illness loss of a spouse or temporary job loss. We also support seniors on a fixed income in this time of spiraling costs.
PROVIDING SERVICES
We have partners that assist with a full spectrum of services that foster continued growth and empowerment for our residents, their families, and their communities, including health education, financial literacy classes, assistance with Section 8 and more.
BRINGING TOGETHER PARTNERS
We partner with companies, community stakeholders, and donors who share our beliefs and have an inherent desire to invest in social change to transform communities and improve the lives of others.
SELF-SUSTAINING DEVELOPMENT
We encourage our partners to implement environmentally friendly solutions by providing functional homes with a much smaller carbon footprint and by using sustainable building practices.
